But if you watch soccer videos from the 80s and before, you'll see that men's games were much slower and less physical than what they are now (if you except English league, which has gone slower since they gave up on their chicken-run kick & rush) And still, I'd enjoy anytime a replay of 86' Brazil-France. The thing is that talented players had more space to show their technical skills. Now only the extra-quick ones (Messi, Kaka, Ronaldinho at a time) or the ones that can create space from nowhere (Zidane, Ibrahamovic) can do it. So, I'd say woman soccer is enjoyable at its speed if the player take advantage of the lesser defensive pressure to do something different. Yes, woman soccer is slow.
